THE G. F. HANDEL MUSIC ACADEMY
The G. F. Handel Music Academy is a private school of music working in cooperation with international schools in Germany and providing high quality music education for children and adolescents. Our music school offers private instrumental lessons to the students of the schools under our highly qualified music pedagogues.
The G. F. Handel Music Academy strives for excellence and focuses on the pleasure of making music. For this reason, we make sure that our students not only have the opportunity to learn how to play an instrument, but also get prepared for competitions, entrance exams and live performances, notably for our two annual school concerts. The philosophy of our Academy puts great emphasis on teamwork and we strongly believe it is essential to teach our students from a young age the beauty of learning and playing together. For this reason, our academy not only provides individual training but also offers chamber music opportunities by establishing musical ensembles and bands. The teachers in our academy are highly qualified pedagogues as well as great musicians and soloists who know how much pleasure and excitement a live performance can bring, not only to the musicians on stage but also to the audience. We therefore organize concerts and different kinds of musical events so that our students can also experience these emotions.
George Frideric Handel, a German-born English composer of the late Baroque era, is one of the greatest composers in music history. From 1710 until his death in 1759, he worked in London, where his influence remarkably shaped the British music culture.
Our music school, founded in Cologne, Germany, with its highly qualified international staff working in cooperation with international schools in Germany, stands for the long tradition of excellence in music as well as cultural interaction and exchange.
